As a group of youth and adults get ready to head off to New Orleans for the 2009 ELCA Youth Gathering, we are asking those who are staying in Bethesda, MD to support them. Those heading to New Orleans to be God’s Hands are the “Away Team.” Those who are not traveling, but are supporting the Away Team from home are the “Home Team.” This blog is for the Home Team. Feel free to explore the entire blog as we update while the Away Team gets ready to go, to see information about what they will be doing in New Orleans, and find information on how to support them.
